GiB - Moving without limits. We are a Cologne association that aims to promote exchange with refugees through a wide range of sports. We were created at the end of 2014 as an initiative as part of a seminar at the German Sport University in Cologne. Since then, we have been providing regular variety of sports for refugees' everyday life. Today we are a registered association (founded in 2015) with over 120 members and, since 2018, a base association of the federal program "Integration through Sport".

We cooperate very closely with the German Red Cross and the sports university. Starting in Cologne-Weiden, we are now active in many accommodations throughout the city. Football, gymnastics, yoga, swimming or climbing. There is something for every age or gender in our offers and GiB continues to grow.

Annual events have also been part of our program since it was founded, including our summer event, the Limitless Cup and the GiB cinema night in winter. We are supported by a wide variety of people. Regardless of whether it's a sports bachelor's degree, a business administration master's degree, you've already arrived at work or you have just come to Germany - everyone is welcome! What connects us all is our enthusiasm for sport.
